This ring is stunning.

1920’s 18 carat & platinum solitaire ring

Set to the center with a magnificent old mine cut diamond.

The diamond possesses a very special beauty only found in old cut stones.

It is claw set in platinum in a star illusion setting that makes the diamond appear much larger

The stone is 4.5 mm x 3.8mm x 3.2mm deep giving a weight of about 0.4 carat but it appears more in the region of 3/4 carat due to the setting.

The diamond is clear & bright and sparkles beautifully. Colour H.Clarity SI2.

The head is 6 mm wide & it stands 6 mm proud of the shank.

It has attractive platinum ornately decorated shoulders with pretty millegrain edging.

It is size N (UK), 7 (USA) It would easily re size

The solid yellow gold shank is marked 18ct & PLAT

This unique ring dates to the Edwardian / Art Deco period.
