Gorgeous Victorian 18ct gold & black enamel locket

This large locket is beautifully decorated with traditional foliate pattern centred with a shield shaped cartouche

The reverse is plain black enamel. It is fitted with a tapered bail. It opens to reveal a photo compartment to each side

This fabulous mourning locket looks stunning when worn

• Tests 18ct gold
• It dates to the Victorian period circa 1880
